The boys bought a hamster to mate with our male teddy bear hamster we got awhile ago. Shortly after we brought it home we noticed it had babies. 11 infact and they all survived which is good for our tract record.
The boys (dad included) have a lot of fun watching the babies grow. They are finally able to hold them now and love that.
